Where is a place for kids to horse back riding in Los Angeles area?

sweet&sour asked:

Is there anywhere in the Los Angeles county that have horse back riding available for kids? I would like to bring my nieces and childrens there. They are about 3-4 years old.

Thanks !

Horse back riding in LA? Hmm, unusual. But I know they have it. Theres many other things that LA has to offer then that. Like, all the characters they have on this one block[[ im bad with streets]] Many other things.

There is a place in Montebello off of Beverly Blvd. that used to have horseback riding. I don’t know if it is there anymore. For sure, Griffith Park.

There are a number of stables in the Griffth Park area, including Sunset Stables and Griffith Park Stables.

However, your best bet is the Griffith Park Pony Rides, which has been around for decades. It is located at the Los Feliz entrance to Griffith Park, right by the Griffith Park & Southern Railroad, also a fun activity for kids that age. The pony rides take the kids around a safe oval track. I remember riding them as a kid. You can choose from walk, trot, or canter. Obviously, kids that age should stick with the walkers.

After the pony rides, you should go for a ride on the train, then head over to the LA Zoo, the merry-go-round, and Travel Town, the rail museum where the kids can actually climb into the trains. Bring a picnic lunch, and your day is set!

(I might recommend the Observatory, but 3-4 is a little young for that)
