Hi, you don’t say how old you are – or where you are. I’d start with riding lessons before making any commitment to buying or hiring a horse long-term. It’s fun and you’ll see the countryside from a totally different perspective, slowly from the back of a horse. You’ll fall off one day – everyone does. They say you can’t be a good rider until you’ve had 7 falls. Good luck.
