Everyday I have to filter through emails with people asking me what they should get for designs in building a chicken coop. It took longer for me to tell people, so instead I will write it up for you in detail in this article. So after I spent 30 dollars on the ebook, I was happy because it was worth it. I thought designing your own chicken coop was simple, but it’s a lot harder than you think. There is a lot more that goes into a chicken coop. Just a quick example, you need the correct lighting for the chicken coop and it can’t be too much or too little. I didn’t know that at first and spent so much time wasted and money spent on 5 designs. Also there was no way in hell I was going to buy those already-built chicken coops that cost an arm and a leg.

I had to eventually ask a friend of mine who owns chickens to tell me how he did it. A friend of mine raises about 12 chickens and has a couple chicken coops. That friend told me he followed the instructional diagrams in a book called building a chicken coop. I can’t believe I didn’t have this book in the first place. I give the building a chicken coop book two thumbs up.

Everyone wants me to tell them how I was able to take supplies and use them to be building a chicken coop from home.

I did spend about 31 dollars on the ebook, but I have saved hundreds of dollars and thousands of hours trying to figure it out on my own. The book really nailed it on the size and placement of the chicken coop along with how to build it and what to put in it. I don’t get excited over things like this all the time. But after reading this eBook, I was starting to get excited.

Biting Horse

What to do with a biting horse is a typical horse training issue. Because Parelli Natural Horsemanship always commences the process of solving a horse problem by first seeking to understand the horse’s behavior, we start by asking this question: Why Is the Horse Biting?

The Answer:

Usually, a horse is biting for one of three reasons:

• The horse is afraid.
• The horse is trying to dominate you.
• Sometimes a horse will nip you to indicate he wants to play; this isn’t really biting.

A Biting Horse Isn’t a Bad Horse

Horse biting is not a “bad habit” that your horse has. It is normally a very real response to something that is really worrying the horse. Either he’s reacting to something that is scaring or hurting him, or he’s telling you that you should move out of the way because he is the boss! Biting is a indication, not a dilemma in itself. It’s feedback, really. The horse cannot speak to let you know that something is troubling him, so he kicks or bites or bucks.

Often people react to a biting horse by slapping the horse on the muzzle. This is not the least bit helpful. A horse is a prey animal and prey animals do not understand punishment. What is helpful when confronted with this problem is to figure out your horse’s personality, or Horsenality™. This will help you figure out which motivation is prompting the horse’s biting behavior. Understanding your horse’s Horsenality and conduct is the basis of the Parellli Natural Horse Training Method and the basis for the natural horsemanship method to solving horse problems. Once you’ve determined whether your horse has a Right-Brain or Left-Brain “Horsenality,” you will fully grasp why he is biting. Right-Brain horses bite in defense when they are afraid or hurt. Left-Brain horses use biting to dominate. Each of these Horsenalities and reasons requires a different horse training approach to arrive at a humane, successful and lasting solution. In order to “cure” the problem, you have to first know where your horse is coming from.  Then you can be appropriate in your response and preventative measures.

Keep Your Distance!

Whether your horse’s biting is stimulated from fear or a desire to dominate, the number one rule with a horse that’s been known to bite is: Keep the Biting Horse at a Distance! Just because we love horses and seek to realize them doesn’t mean we don’t recognize the danger a biting horse presents. Until you’ve learned your horse’s Horsenality and what training method will get you the best and most lasting solution for that Horsenality, keeping your horse at a distance – and out of biting range – is a good interim solution. However, this means that you need to know how to skillfully back your horse up from a distance. For this, we advise wiggling your rope using the one of the Parelli Seven Games called the Yo-Yo Game. Backing up your horse just a step or two may not be enough. You need to back him up until the look on his face changes. Next Steps

Once you’ve gotten out of the way – strategy #1 – the next step is to work with your horse so that he doesn’t feel the need to bite you. If he’s biting, he’s reacting to you as if you’re threatening him, as if you’re the predator and he’s the prey. Depending on his Horsenality, he’s either scared by this or takes it as a challenge to try to dominate you in turn, but either way, he’s seeing you as predator. The cure for this – which in turn cures bucking, biting, and most other horse problems – is to break through the prey-predator barrier by becoming your horse’s partner.

You’re still in charge – because you’re the alpha/leader – but you’re no longer a threat. The cure for a biting horse is to teach the horse that you’re a good guy – that you’re nothing and no one he needs to be afraid of or try to dominate. The Seven Games is the best way we know of to do just that. It’s why we recommend them so often.  Establishing a new relationship by learning to play with your horse changes the predator-prey relationship — and that changes everything. How to: Pigeon Training for Pigeon Races

Appropriately coaching younger birds is critical in giving them each and every opportunity to win the races they take part in, particularly the first couple of races.

If you take the young birds as close as possible towards the initial contest place as you possibly can, you’ll greatly improve their chances of winning.  Don’t be concerned about whether they will do the length even as near to 1 week before the contest.

The initial few races for the young pigeon may well be more about the pigeons understanding their way home instead of conditioning or perhaps health, despite the fact that the two of these points too are obviously very important. If a young pigeon has actually gone to, or perhaps already been near to the initial competition place it will often set off easily and avoid the pack due to the self-assurance it has.

Diabetes Type 2: Does It Hurt One’s Body?

A type of diabetes that comprises greater than 90 % of 21 million cases in the USA is  Type 2 Diabetes . Studies show that millions of people have it and that a large number are expected to have it globally by the year 2025. As Diabetes Type 2 is most common, it does not get the focus that other diseases like cancer or AIDS receive. But, a very large part of our population has it and apparently, it just seems to be getting worse. It has become so bad at this point, that it is now showing up more often in young people.

So, when you get Type 2 Diabetes, what sort of damage does it do to your body? Depending on how healthy you may be and the medicines you may be taking for Diabetes 2, the damage might be better or worse. Specific areas of your body that can be damaged due to high  blood sugar  levels are your kidneys, eyes, and your heart and blood vessels. More severe instances may also result in nerve damage or disease. The kidneys are prone to disease whenthe blood vessels collapse and start to leak. It is a medically accepted fact that more pressure on the kidneys of Type two Diabetes sufferers consequently damages any remaining blood vessels further and eventually cause the kidneys to fail.

Once the kidney’s reach the failure point, dialysis is the next step that a person will permanently be using. Since the risk of having kidney failure is severe, the American Diabetes Association, ADA, recommends patients to be screened for protein in the urine each year during diagnosis.Eyes can be affected by type 2 diabetes when the blood vessels behind the eyes begin to swell. This pressure can finally damage blood vessels to the retina resulting in leakage of blood therefore blocking vision. Retina damage is irreversible. As a result of this, it is strongly suggested that sufferers withType two Diabetes be checked annually for retinopathy.

The blood vessels within important organs, like the heart, are affected when Type 2 diabetes and yourhealth is not properly cared for. Nerve disease is a very common seen in a person with poor care of Type 2 diabetes. It affects your ability to determine pressure, pain, and temperature. It particularly affects the feeling sensation in the lower legs and feet. This is the main problem causing significant damage to both your feet. Circulation is poor in the feet and patients cannot tell there is a problem until it is too late. Really bad cases result in amputation of the toes or even a feet. Due of this severity, it’s recommended by the ADA that people with Type two Diabetes get a thorough foot exam yearly.
