How would I be able to convince my parents to let me do horse back riding?
I live right across the street from a farm. There are loads of horses and they give horse back riding lessons. They are 40 bucks…My parents won’t let me do riding lessons because they think its too much with the Helmet, the shoes, the pants needed, and the 40 bucks for lessons. How can I convince them to let me go?
Where are some good horse back riding centers that i can go to that dont cost very much?
Im looking for a good horse back riding center that isn’t too expensive. Ive always loved horses and it would be great to find a place where i could ride!

A Few Questions About My First Gymkhana. PLZ HELP?
Hey, I know this might sound a little stupid but I’ve been riding for about 3 years and my first gymkhana is this Sunday! When I had my first pony a few years ago I wasn’t into PC and all that, but I had to sell her because I grew out of her. And now that I’ve had my new horse for almost a year (as soon as I got her I joined PC) I’m really getting into it. I had never jumped before I got Montana and she was only jumping MINI E grade logs.. We’ve come so far together – we’re now jumping D-C grade things..
Anyway, so this is my first gymkhana.. And I don’t know how to plait my horses mane.. She has a really short mane and a TINY forelock (pic included) so will this be hard? Lol..
Also how can I handle my nerves in the gymkhana? I just know I’ll be really nervous before my events.. I’m entered in showjumping, equitation, ring class, barrel racing, bending and flag racing. I know that this will sound really shallow but I really want to win a ribbon! Any tips on turning sharper at a canter, equitation and keeping my horse at a canter would be great (LOL she’s a tad lazy) would be great!
Thank you!!
x
PS The pic is of my friend Monique on Monnie. Lolz.
